I’m very impressed with the Giants. I’d left them for dead after the first 2 games. I derided their offense as impotent. Boy, was I wrong about the composition/drive of this team. My hats off to them.

Latos is a head case. The reds gave up way too much talent for him. He’s a great pitcher when things go well, but he completely unravels under pressure.

CAAAAIIIIINNNNN! CAAAAAIIIIIINNNN! For the love of Dog, Bochy, get him out of there! He’s getting ready to assplode….aaaaaarrrrrggggg…..

” no team in either league has ever taken a 2-0 lead in a five-game series and lost the next three all at home.” I see what you did there

While no team has come back from an 0-2 deficit in the NLDS, the Padres did come back against the Cubs in an NLCS in 1984, when that round was best of five. Which doesn’t mean that the Giants’ comeback...

Yep, as soon as the error allowed the 2nd run to score I was curious how Latos would respond. That he walked the next guy was not a surprise. To stick with him was questionable at that point, but then...

Was Posey’s GS a yickety or a mamo? Uh oh, Reds are clawing back. 6-3.

Ryan Ludwick, who’d have expected THAT (besides anyone who’s watched that guy tattoo balls all over the place)? Seriously, Cain can get Rolen, but that is IT. He needs to be sat down before he hands...

6-3 now. I’m just going to STFU about this game until afterwards. I’m an AL guy, so I don’t know these two teams enough, apparently, to chime in, lol.

Jeez. If anyone knows Bochy call him NOW! Tell him to get off his ass and get Cain OUT!!!!! aaaarrrrggggg……he can get Hanagan, right? Of course he can…if he throws strikes and doesn’t bean the kid....

Looks like i caught the outside of the box so i suppose so. either way they just ran themselves out of a rally.

NO! (But Hannigan still should have swung–it was too close to take with the runner going).

Yes, you cannot get called out, especially with the runners going, plus he just missed with two sliders, so you gotta be lookin’ fastball there. But Dusty still was taking an unwarranted chance.

Big strike’m out and throw’m out double play. That was huge for the Giants.

To be clear, I meant for those of us following on game cast & not able to watch live…cuz on mlb’s pitch tracker it appeared off the plate.

Dont worry giants fans Dusty Baker is the Reds Manager now he wont let you guys lose this series………Jesus another Dusty Baker Mismanagement kills an inning!!

Just another Dusty melt down. Giants in 2002 WS, cubs in ’03 and now this disaster. What a resume.
View ArticleBy: stabonerichard
Hanigan, as catcher, would figure to know the ump’s zone today as well as anybody. I blame dusty for leaving Latos out there, but not for trusting Hanigan in that spot. If it was a legit strike, it’s...

If Giants win this, I’m going to say give Hunter Pence MVP for his rally speech, holy cow..

The other great memory of Giants v Latos was 2010 to win the NLWest on the last game of the year when he was on the Padres. He seems to own us in regular season games and now that makes 2 of 2 where we...
